On its 107-day journey, the MV Discovery provides access to more than 40 exotic ports in such regions as South America, Africa, India and the Mediterranean. Depart from Argentina and cruise through the Beagle Channel and Drake Passage to the penguin colonies of Antarctica and the Falkland Islands. Cross the Atlantic, stopping in Tristan da Cunha before continuing to South Africa ports. Then spend time in exotic Madagascar and Mauritius before sailing across the Indian Ocean to Mumbai, India, a bustling city of skyscrapers and temples.

After stops in Oman and Yemen, you'll reach Safaga, a gateway to Egyptian tombs and ruins. Then, cruise the Suez Canal to access ports in Lebanon, Syria and Turkey. Visits to Ukraine and Bulgaria are followed by the dramatic cliffs and quaint villages of the Greek Isles. Piraeus serves as a port to Athens, the birthplace of Western civilization -- the Parthenon is a must-see here. In the Mediterranean, sail into the picturesque harbors of Malta, Sicily and mainland Italy.

Civitavecchia is your entry point for Rome, a European highlight. Sail west around the Iberian Peninsula toward France, Spain and Portugal, with a stop in Gibraltar. Stately castles and cathedrals make for some stunning photographs in Lisbon. After two relaxing days at sea, the ship's arrival in Harwich marks the end of your voyage.
